As Linda waits for the perfect man to sweep her away into a thrilling marriage, Fanny yearns to find her estranged mother and figure out her family ties. The series, which is written and directed by star Emily Mortimer, is set between the first and second World Wars, following the charming Linda Radlett (James) and her cousin and confidant Fanny Logan (Emily Beecham). If that’s not enough to draw you to The Pursuit of Love, the mini-series also sparked drama because of a shocking kiss between co-stars James and Dominic West last year in Rome.
